What This Means for You
- You pay the same price whether you use my affiliate link or not. The commission comes from the seller, not from you.
- I only recommend products and services I personally use and trust. If I link to a tool, it’s because I use it in my daily work as a Principal Engineer at Microsoft. If I haven’t used it, it’s not on this site.
- My opinions are my own. Affiliate relationships do not influence my reviews or recommendations. If a tool isn’t good, I won’t recommend it regardless of commission. Life’s too short for bad tools.

Why Affiliate Links?
I spend significant time creating free content — blog posts, tool reviews, open-source contributions, and an upcoming book. Affiliate revenue helps offset the time and hosting costs involved in maintaining this site, without putting any content behind a paywall.
The goal is simple: keep the content free, keep the recommendations honest, and maybe cover the cost of my Azure bill. (Spoiler: the Azure bill always wins.)
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on this site are typically marked with a disclosure note at the bottom of each post. In most cases, they link to products on Amazon, Manning, Pluralsight, or JetBrains.
